The Pony Club
We have recently become an approved Pony Club establishment and would now like to invite any of our existing or new customers to become a member.
It is a great myth that children can only join the pony club if they have their own pony, but this is not the case. Here at Bridles we are able to provide children with the opportunity to work towards badges and tests with the use of our ponies, facilities and staff.
This allows members to meet other children with an equal passion for horses. Together the children will not only learn a number of equine skills they will gain an understanding for working together in a friendly and safe environment. Once a member your child will be able to attend one of our weekly courses run after school which is catered to their age and ability (subject to a charge).
Here they will be able to get to know the staff and the other children and together we will start to cover a wide variety of subjects within the pony club syllabus. Along with the weekly classes, summer workshop days will act as a fun day for the children to spend at the yard practicing the skills they have learnt. Riding will be incorporated into these sessions, but the children will not ride every week. It is important that if the children want to progress with there riding skills that they attend separate riding lessons.
